You might remember a post from a few days ago which talked about the local issue of a planned incinerator near King's Lynn.
There was an overwhelming 'NO' vote in a local referendum against the incinerator (which had a very high 'turnout')

At a meeting of Norfolk County Council cabinet however, there was a vote to proceed with the contract despite this.
So the issue is still very much "live"...
