Invite Geography Teachers to

Raising the Profile of Geography in Your School

The Cranedale Centre, Kirby Grindalythe, Near Malton

The Cranedale Centre is a residential Field Studies centre founded in 1983. It has now firmly established itself as a market leader in fieldwork provision and has a well respected reputation for the high quality of its courses and facilities.

The Cranedale Centre is pleased to invite teachers to join them for the day in order to help raise the profile of Geography in their school and enhance the delivery of the curriculum. The day will include:

  • Information from the Geographical Association and details on how they can support your school
  • Practical tasks to use with your students to enhance the curriculum and make learning more enjoyable, including microclimate investigations
  • Information about the Cranedale Centre and the facilities available for schools
  • Learn more about the Secondary Geography Quality Mark from a school who have received the award
  • Find out how to use Geographical Information Systems (GIS)

This is a free event. Lunch & Refreshments will be provided.

£100 towards supply cover is available for attending teachers.
